The Benifits of Yoga

​

The practice of yoga has both physical and mental health benefits. Studies have shown that having a frequent yoga practice can be associated with improved posture, increased flexibility and building muscle strength. Yoga practice is also shown to help with boosting metabolism, increasing blood flow, helps with better sleep, increases lung function through breathing exercises and increases self-esteem.

Is Yoga Right for Me?

Yoga class is for people of all ages and skill levels. No prior experience is needed. Please inform the instructor of any major injuries. You know your body better than anyone else. Yoga should never hurt. There are many pose variations for each individual. As we like to say to all of our students, all you need to practice yoga is to breathe in and exhale out.
